One Web Day is an Earth Day for the Internet. Think of it as a worldwide environmental movement for the Internet ecosystem. On this day, we gather all Internet stakeholders – end-users, regulating bodies, commercial providers – and unite in protecting and defending the Internet.

How can you participate?

• Begin by signing up as a member of the Philippine Internet Users Society (PIUS).
• If you have a blog and/or website join the list of supporters of OneWebDay just add the OWD Badge in your site.
• Want to party? Mark your calendars and be part of the OneWebDay Jam on September 22, 2009
• Upload a blog post on your blog on the topic “How can we make the Internet accessible for everyone?” and join the Asyanna 2Blog+2Act: A Blogging Competition
• Join the Grand EB (Eye-Ball) of netrepreneurs and expand your business' reach.
• Do you play in a band? You can join the OBRA Cyber Shout! Battle of the Bands and have a chance to perform on the OneWebDay Jam.
• If you’re artistically inclined, you can send in your painting and join the OBRA ART@NET 2009 Visual Art Competition.
• Computer breakdown? We offer Free Repair /Check-up of Personal PCs by PIUS Volunteer Technicians (One PC per person only)
