Mechanics:
1. Each band will have to perform the following piece:
- 1st Song – Any song that depicts liberty, openness & freedom
- 2nd Song - Originally written composition pertaining to a freedom of access to computers
- 3rd Song – OneWebDay Jingle
2. Any musical genre is allowed (acoustic, rock, alternative, hip hop, etc.), provided that the band will provide the specific instruments to their musicality.
3. Each band will be given only 15 minutes to perform including set-up. The band that demonstrates excessive arrangements or egresses for longer than the specified time will result to a deduction of their total score.
4. No lewd words are allowed on the repertoire. Any group with foul language will be disqualified.
5. Protests are prohibited and will not be accepted regarding any score or result of a decision.
6. Judging will be based on the following criteria:
- Lyrics and Musicality 45%
- Originality 20%
- Stage Presence 20%
- Audience Impact 15%
- TOTAL 100%

LATEST UPDATE: Event Philippines had been in charge of the concert in the evening and due to the busy schedule of Nash, we had no time to really push through with the Battle of the Bands during the OneWebDay. Shortage of funds as well as time and manpower to handle some events had made the PIUS Board decide to postpone the event for now for future events of PIUS.
We hope that you will understand the situation and this decision. Thanks!

The Battle of the Bands will officially be launched during the OneWebDay 2009 at SM Mall of Asia. We are inviting those that have signed up here in this section to attend during the concert and also if it will be okey to be part of those that will perform.
It is planned that the Battle of the Bands will be setup during the "Internet Safer Day" in February. Hope that you will join us for both music and a safer and more accessible internet.
