Philippine Internet Users Society

Jophel Botero Ybiosa of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines won the Grand Prize (Gold Award) in the photography category of the 2009 ASEAN-Korea Multimedia Competition. Ybiosa's  three winning entries entitled "The Guide" , "Festive Day" and " Reflection of a Culture" feature the Higantes Festival of Angono, Rizal and Aliwan Festival in Manila.

PIUS Inc Board and Management team is now preparing for our forthcoming event on (Saturday) May 29, 2010. The event will focus in addressing a critical issue among Internet users’ – “Internet Safety”, especially among the youth and students.

Part of our advocacy is to help educate Internet users’ on key issues like; “Internet Safety”. The planned event is to expose Internet users to the wealth of materials, organizations, tools, etc. called; Internet Safety Resources that are available at their disposal. The event will herald PIUS Inc. continuing advocacy on “Internet Safety”.

The said event will be an ongoing project of PIUS Inc. through our “PIUS Internet Safety Forums” in Schools and Communities nationwide. This early, we are already seeking volunteers for the event. Thank you and we look forward to your active participation.
