"Blogging Business Is Profitable" survey says

BloggingThe latest Blogging Survey conducted by Videojug reveals that the blogging market is now in saturation and is profitable. Aside from that it also revealed a lot of interesting facts and results. A whooping 54.7% of bloggers had their blog for over 2 years with just 11% who have their blogs only for under a year. Another interesting result is the revalation that of all the blogs, a huge 55% don't have any advertisements in their blog.

The First Asia Pacific Blog Awards Is On!

In conjunction with Nuffnang's second anniversary and with their title sponsor, Pringles, the first ever Asia Pacific Blog Awards is on. The awards night will be held in Uniquely Singapore on October 23, 2009. The blog awards is held to recognize the excellence of renowned bloggers from the Asia-Pacific region.

Honouring the best of the blogosphere, Nuffnang will be running one month of open nominations and one month of voting. This will eventually culminate in a GRAND Gala Dinner in Singapore. 400 bloggers and guests from all over the region will be transported and accomodated all for free and paid for by Nuffnang.

PIUS invites all bloggers to join its Blogging Competition

The Philippine Internet Users Society, Inc. (PIUS) is holding its “2Blog+2Act: A Blogging Competition”  as  one  of  the  pocket events  being organized  for   the  forthcoming Sept. 22   OneWebDay  celebration.

The competition aims to recognize the best blogs written on the topic, “How Can We Make the Internet Accessible to  for Everyone.” The top winning blogger will receive a plaque, a cash prize, free advertisements and other  prizes in  kind from potential sponsors.

Helping organize the blogging competition is Asyanna (www.asyanna.com),  one  of  the ever increasing  partners and advocates  of PIUS. Asyanna, which is  run  by  a  group  of  budding entrepreneurs led  by  Mei  Velas-Suarin, is an upcoming online shop of Asian products.
